Food Matters

Food Matters is a book about sensible eating in ways that not only helps your belly line, but also, according the author, Mark Bittman, global warming.

The main premise of the book is about eating healthily through the consumption of more vegetables, fruits, legumes and whole grains; and less consumption of meat, meat by-products (diary, butter, yogurt, cheese, eggs, etc…), and junk food (candies, sodas, white bread/rice/pasta, fast-food etc.) It’s also a pretty short read at about 100 pages, and another 100 pages of recipes.

Though, if you decide to not pick the book up, at least take this from it: eat more veggies, eat less meat and junk food.
